Bought these to replace the same model and was disappointed in quality and constriction.. Fabric was thinner and poorly constructed. Returned

I bought these to supplement the convertible pants I already own of other brands. I'm a motorcyclist so space is at a premium. This gives me shorts and long pants in one and nylon takes up no space at all. Quality is good, size is accurate, but I'd like to have a bit more room in the legs and torso. . I have a pair of large Columbia convertible pants that are just a bit roomier and it makes it nicer. Pant length is great for my 32" inseam.

Bought these pants to replace a cotton pair of cargo pants. The Trail Pants were great. Wore them in blustery weather on trip to Savannah and they were very comfortable and kept me warm. On the one warmish day, zipped off the legs and used them as shorts. My waist is right on the line for the XL size, but there was enough elastic for the pants to feel comfortable. The adjustable belt was helpful, but I would have preferred larger loops so I could use my own belts. However, planning to purchase a second pair.

Other than being to baggy in the legs these are awesome. They convert really easy and each detachable pant leg is marked. Great value

These come in small, which is 28-30, or medium, which is 32-34. I wear a 31. The smalls would be too small, and the mediums are just a little big. Even with tightening the belt, they are a little loose. This isn't a problem with these pants, though. I have convertibles made by two other companies, and I have the same issue with them. On the plus side, I really like that there is a velcro closure on the cuff, which makes wearing gaiters easier, and a zipper to open them up to remove without having to take one's boots off. They are quite comfortable. Just yesterday I started what would be a 13 mile climbing trip with the bottoms on. About halfway up the mountain it warmed up to the point where taking off the bottoms and wearing the shorts only was feasible, and was easily accomplished.

Baggiest pants ever. Fit in the waist is fine, cut really huge overall. No worries about freedom of movement! Fabric is very lightweight, washed up fine first time. Bought for travel, they will do.
