“These boots are cheap and comfortable. That's it for the positives.
They are appropriate for the occasional light tour skiier who skiis close enough to the car to walk out if their boots fail them.
I used these for one season. The plastic toe cover cracked immediately on both boots.
The soles delaminated on both boots. One sole tore off the boot, so I repaired it, then aa couple of trips later, the other sole tore off.
Material is starting to fray at the sides of the bood.
Eyelits pull out.
Having the soles of touring ski boots come off in the backcountry can be very dangerious. Lucky for me, I had some tire inner-tube bands to tie the aole to the boot and limp two miles to the road. If I had been ten miles in with nothing to repaire, I would have have had to essentially have had to walk nearly barefoot in the snow.
I have 30 year old entry level boots from the 80's all crackly and ugly that hold up better than these boots new.
Spemd more money and get a more reliable paire of boots.”
