Used this product on a week-long winter trip to Northern Minnesota. I also wore earmuffs and a warm hat and didn't ever get cold. It easily adjusts to fit under my chin, over my mouth, or over my nose, depending on how cold I am. When over my nose and I was wearing glasses, the glasses would fog up. The area over my mouth would get wet sometimes from my breath, and it would look like I had a frosty mustache/mouth, however, the moisture didn't bother me too much (maybe because it was mostly around my mouth/lips and not directly on my skin) and dried out quickly when not around my mouth. We didn't experience any extreme winds, and temperatures stayed between 11-20 degrees F, so I don't know how it would perform in more extreme weather.
