Unlike most wicking shirts this has the heft of a traditoinal cotton turtleneck. Plus it is slghtly loose like a cotton turtleneck I wear it with shell jacket in 30 degree ski weather. I wear it almost all ski seaon in virginia. not too light and not too heavy

    • Answer Expedition weight is traditionally the heaviest weight layer. Good to wear all by otself too, but perfect for stop and go COLD weather activities.

    • Answer Heavy. Almost feels like a quilted top (though it isn't). Smooth on the outside and fuzzy on the inside.
