    The midweight bottoms were sold out, so I went heavier rather than lighter. Got a little too warm while hiking so I will probably save them for in and around camp. Waist and inseam are good fit but a little baggy in the legs. Overall, a good product.

    Could not find any evidence of "seconds". They are exceptionally warm, esp. for Winter in Central NY. They have been washed repeatedly and do very well, no problems at all-they are getting softer on the inside fleece. The legs are very long but work well to go down inside boots either over or under socks.Good price for the product!

    I'll be using this product in Tahoe when I travel there in a couple weeks. I use to own a pair of old school longjohns but it was a bit uncomfortable and itchy. This product feels alot more comfortable.Over all it feels great, except it does'nt have a good support,maybe the shrinkage might help in cold weather (lol)

    I bought the lightweight and expedition weight versions of these long underwear at the same time, both in size M. The lightweight version fits fine. But, holding the two pairs up to each other, the expedition weight bottoms are *much* bigger in every dimension (even waist is 3 inches bigger). I assumed they'd been mislabeled and returned them for another M pair. Unfortunately, they're also enormous. Sizing on these is just way off.

    Ankles are GREAT, can get feet through and wear socks, shoes, etc. Elastic waist is wide and strong. 6 foot 230lbs bought a L and and XL different colors. Both fit. XL looser of course. I wear a Medium in silk longjohns but they stretch. These can stretch but if tight they aren't as warm.
