Wickers Long Underwear Bottoms - Expedition Weight, Comfortrel® (For Women)

Waistband sits way too high. Certainly can't roll it over (too bulky) or leave it where it sits. I bet I'd really like them for their warmth but can't use them as they are.

I wear size 8 jeans and the medium size makes these great pajama bottoms for an upcoming camping out trip. To fit under my hiking pants, I would want size small for a snug fit.

I use these for downhill skiing under a shell pant. I really like that I can pull the ankle cuff up over my calves instead of tucking them in my ski boots. Much more comfortable than other long johns that cut off circulation when I do this.

Bought these to keep me warm when working in the barn in the winter. Not fancy but they suit the purpose.

Bought these for my wife who is cold all the time. She wore them the first day under some yoga-type pants and was warm and cozy all day long. They are too high waisted, and not as snug fitting as some other brands, but she rolled the waistband down a bit and they worked great. They are super soft, and she likes the color better in person. All in all, I very good product for a great price.

Love these warm bottoms under my ski pants. They do run a bit big, but the garment is easy to arrange to fit comfortably. Getting another pair, as you cannot get enough warm close for the very cold!

As a South Floridian I get cold very easily. While hunting I was in a blind motionless for 3 hours and the expedition weight base layer kept me warm. I had to unzip my velour lined jacket while walking back to the camp. It was 29 degrees. I'm used to 80's. I was happier that I purchased these with every crunchy step. Really good price compared to many other top branded base layers and in my opinion warmer. The smooth outer layer allows even fleece clothes to glide right over without bunching while the non itchy inside layer is soft next to sensative skin. At 17 degrees I put on the boat neck top with the 1/4 zip over that. Tucked a balaklava into the 1/4 zip. 20 mph wind didn't phase me. Wow.

I was looking for an expedition weight base layer. The thing with a base layer, however, is that you tend to put other layers over them and it's easiest if the base layer fits well. These are loose...and the rise is so high that the waistband falls around my ribcage. I generally wear a 12 (big hips) and ordered the L because of the sizing info, but these were too large. I bought 2 pairs, but will only be keeping one because of the size issue.

As others have commented, they are a bit loose with a high waist. For me, that's comfortable. Occasionally, the inseam feels scratchy on my skin. The picture showed them without cuffs. Also no hint of cuffs in the description but they do have them.
