    I seem to feel the cold more as I get older and these 'ljs' just fill the bill. I walk my dog every morning and just before dusk so they're very necessary at those times. I can also keep my house a little cooler since they're comfortable to wear all day. I have recommended that my friend order a pair as she is making a trip to Seattle in March! at a location near the ocean.

    As a child I used to watch my mother wrestle and scuffle to get into her girdle. I get that deja vu feeling when trying to get my feet through the cuffs (on or off), and when sitting or doing other things that require bending my knees. If you never get in and out of a car, or sit, or crouch, then you only notice the binding fabric when extracting yourself from its grips. Otherwise, they are marvelous .... :-(

    I use wickers at all hours, winter, spring and fall and have far fewer colds. My only issues are with tight ankles and waistbands but I remodel (and not just these garments!) until they suit me.
