Wickers Long Underwear Shirt - Midweight, Moisture-Wicking, Long Sleeve (For Kids)

Bought a collection of these for my kids to layer under t-shirts- warm and soft and great layering!

My 5 year old son loves this shirt! He wears it under all of his favorite short sleeved shirts during the winter, and it looks great. Well built, and seems really warm.

Nice soft waffle-like fleecy interior.

These shirts are great for layering on winter morning walks to school. They are warmer than an average long sleeve shirt and my kids love the soft fleece interior. They do run 1-1.5 sizes small though so order a size or two bigger than usual.

Very nicely made, and the fabric has a nice soft feel to it. Haven't tested it yet in very cold weather, but it seems like it will be very warm. This is listed as "2NDS", but honestly, haven't even noticed any blemishes -- looks great!

I ordered the XXS for my 2.5 year old. He's on the small size (like 25 percentile all around)and the XXS fit him well and should last him this winter and at least some of next winter as well. I say hit or miss, because I ordered 3 and of the 3, the stitching unravelled at the bottom hem after the first wash. Still wearable, but I don't see this one making it through the winter. having said that- the other 2 are great... Still for the price, you can't beat them and is worth the risk especially if you oder a few of them.

Very nice shirt. I recommend it. Just want to make the buyer knows that the sleeve-wrist area gets narrow -forget pushing up your sleeves unless you have pencil arms- which my son does not have. Do not rely on the picture color accuracy shown on Left [product zoom area] of your computer screen. I made the mistake of ordering Berry - the pic. shows a red hued shirt. The color pallet on right under the title Is Accurate. I hope this helps you in your ordering. I plan on switching this one because it is a nice shirt. Made in the USA- means keeping someone in his/her job. As well as keeping our $$ in the USA.

This says midweight, but it's much thinner than the midweight Wickers long underwear pants. But I'm keeping them b/c they will still be useful. The thickness if about like a cotton t-shirt, but of course in polyester. I prefer the thicker stuff. The midweight pants are thicker.

We bought several of these thermals last year and ordered new ones because my oldest daughter has outgrown last year's. These thermals are very warm without feeling bulky and also quite comfortable. I often wear my own around the house because they are so comfy. The tops look nice enough to be worn as an external layer for casual wear. They are warmer than one might expect. We live in Maine and use these as a base layer during the cold months. These thermals are so toasty warm that after shoveling snow for a short time while wearing these, I often have to remove my jacket. My daughter and I are both very slender, so we get cold easily and these thermals are absolutely perfect for keeping us warm during the cold winters out here. These are also very effective at wicking away moisture, but be sure to wash them in cold water and don't use dryer sheets because this will decrease the moisture wicking ability of the thermals.

We ordered these last year and loved them. This year we ordered again and found that what is billed as "midweight" in the top is completely different (more like thick silk weight) than the bottoms. I don't care what you call them, but the tops and bottoms need to be consistent. We sent the top back and ordered the expedition weight which is apparently closer to the midweight bottoms.
