“Nice feeling synthetic”

“I haven't really put this to the test yet but it's nice to find a "wicking" top that is a true turtleneck. Most items of this category are "mock-T's" or contain cotton. (BTW, I can't believe how many salespeople have no clue about the hyperthermia dangers of cotton for socks, long-johns, or tops.) I used to love the old polyproplyene HellyHansen Lifa turtlenecks for crosscountry skiing. I guess that fabric would get really "toothy" and abrasive over time. But it sure kept you dry. If this doesn't work, I may have to fall back to the major manufacture in this category, but I have noticed that those products are usually Lyrca/Nylon blends which I do not like.”
