5.0 out of 5 stars. GreatVerified Buyer Reviewed by Fussy Fisherman from NY on Tuesday, November 14, 2017Very easy to lock and unlock. Perfect. To unlock just keep squeezing. I bought 3 more pairs after using these for one day in the river. Truthfully like them better than my $125 Abel hemos.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Sharp edgesReviewed by Winter lover from NYC on Friday, October 13, 2017None of the edges of this clamp seem to have been polished. Be careful with the rough edges. The opening can be tricky for those who don't know how to work around it. Instead of trying to open it by unlocking it and pulling the handles apart, pretend to close it all the way and it will unlock. Be careful to keep your fingers out of the way of the center portion or those sharp points will pierce your finger. Definitely keep put of the reach of children.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Big, Big, Big!!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Steve Carpenter from Charlotte, NC on Wednesday, January 14, 2009Very large box that will hold the biggest flies you've got! Think Briefcase for flies! Great for boat owner that can leave it on the boat. Only negative is that it could be tough to travel with if you're trying to pack light.
- Best Uses: Big Game fishing, Fresh Water, Salt Water
- Cons: Too large for travel
- Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher
- Pros: Durable, Functional

2.0 out of 5 stars. Too smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Tennis Bum from Southport, NC on Wednesday, December 3, 2008Never found the pin in shank for cleaning hook eyes. A curved hemostat that I have had for years works far superior to this--it is too small and the lack of curved jaws makes it difficult to use. Only useful on very small, lip hooked fish--useless on a deep hooked large mouth bass.
- Cons: Difficult To Use, Poor Design
