    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    the fleece outer threw me for a loop. was expecting something that water beads off of, not something that absorbs water. the waterproofing agent sits between an inner insulation layer, and an outer fleece layer. I think that a day in the rain would make that suit at least 3 lbs heavier in just retained water. a pro the fleece might offer for some is that it would be quieter than more traditional shells. just not the product for me.

    I bought this product for hunting season, and was glad I did. It is everything listed in its description; warm, quiet, and durable under the elements. There is enough room underneath the bibs to wear multiple layers, and the leg openings are perfect for boots.

    Purchased during a sale I'd rate these bibs a great deal. At regular price, not so good. They are warm, quiet, and light. They do have a couple oddities. 1, leg zip flaps face forward so actually pull some snow in instead of keeping it out. 2, seem a little long in the torso to me. Other than that they are sized right to go over street clothes and go over my boots fairly easily.
