    Used it once to fly from AK to NY (with only 1 stop) and one side panel nearly broke through. My other rifle cases on the same trip had no problems (Pelican). Fortunately, the crush damage did not extend into the case itself and the rifle was not damaged. The airline looked at the damage and called it "normal". In the process of returning it. Spend your money wisely - not on this item.

    Nice case, but 1rough airplane trip and thiscould get pretty dented, I don't like the handle, the GuardForce 2 pistol case I have made by vanguard is better constructed & has lock built in... But too small. Winchester can easily fit 4 pistols.
