Wolky Melite Tall Boots - Leather (For Women)

I plan to wear these boots daily.

I bought these before moving to Spain. It has been a cold, hard winter, and I wear them walking for hours every day. They still look great, clean up with a damp paper towel (in a pinch), and are my footwear of choice. They are not waterproof, but they do dry quickly. I cannot say enough about the excellent quality.

I usually wear a 37 in European shoes. These are a 36 and fit well. The leather is very soft. I was a little disappointed in the width of the calf-it is much wider than I thought it would be..I was hoping for a snugger fit. But, since they are so comfortable, I decided to keep them! I have only worn them once so far, so I can not judge on the wear and tear of them.

These boots are just dressy enough for wearing with a skirt and going out yet are still very comfortable with a rubber sole and comfortable footbed. Perfect if you live in a snowy climate. They fit me just right but might be too narrow in the calf (mine is a little boxy from biking and just fits) or too snug in the instep (I have a high arch but low instep-many clogs fall right off my feet when I walk) but these are a perfect snug fit for me with a pair of thin wool socks. I usually wear a 9.5 or 41 in most brands and these are right on.

I've had good luck with Wolky size 36 in the past, so that's what I ordered. Although the length of these boots was probably OK, they're clearly not designed for those of us with high insteps--I couldn't even get my foot in the boot! Too bad: I was looking for a good-quality casual boot, and the price on these boots was unbeatable. But back they went. I'd recommend them to a friend ONLY if she had flat feet!

These boots are super good quality, the leather is scrumptious. The foot bed is divinely comfortable. My new favorite boot.

so, first off, i think sierra's europe/us shoe size converter is a little off. i got a size 37, which they advertise as a size 6, but which all other conversion charts indicate should be a 6.5 (which it is...and then some). i normally wear a 7, occasionally a 7.5, rarely a 6.5, and the 37 fits me perfectly (and is most definitely NOT a 6). the shoe it self is very cute, very comfortable, actually has a nice shape to it (i HATE knee high boots that don't taper nicely at the ankles and make you look like you should be milling about swatting flies with your fellow pachyderms). also, i've got very muscular calves (14.5-15" at their widest...a constant point of frustration in finding knee high boots that can actually zip), and these fit me, albeit snugly (they're all leather uppers, so i'm anticipating they'll be a little less snug with wear). wish they were a little wider in caliber, as i like the mildly galosh-y look, but these do look super super cute.

These boots have a good fitting, but the front of them is very unattractive.They look like rain boots.I will return them

I typically wear an 8.5 to a 9 and get a 39 in Danskos. I ordered the 40 (9) in these boots since they didn't come in half sizes, and I think the 39 (8) would have been a better fit, so I'm going to say if you are a half size, try half size down. Or stick to the size you normally wear in Danskos! Unfortunately, the 39s are sold out, so I'll keep the 40. In any rate. they are super soft and comfy and will pair well with knee-length skirts. or short skirts with tights.
