I wipe it out with a paper towel, then put in a little water to boil and when almost gone, wipe it out again with another paper towel. I use tongs to maneuver the paper towels. I could use a cloth towel, but this works for me. It is not spotless and sterilized. I could take it to the sink but I find it heavy for my arthritic hands. love to cook, good beautiful food and this set lets me do just that. I find thinner pans wimpy and they provide uneven heat, and burn food easily.

Reviewed by Anne from Sarasota on Tuesday, August 28, 2012It looks like a very high quality pan, but it's so heavy that I struggle to pick it up empty, and would find it difficult to maneuver at all when full. It would definitely suit someone with good arm strength, as it's a brilliant piece of kit, but it's not for the faint hearted. Mine, I'm afraid, will have to go back.
