I use them for casual wear and general work wear. The inside hand pocket material seems to be a little thin, that's why I gave it 4 stars. The cargo pockets are all canvas. The canvas material is not as thick as the ones that "stand up in the corner", but that makes them very comfortable. At around thirteen dollars with the discount coupon, I think they will be just fine and I would anticipate they would last MORE than 6 months wearing them once a week, which is just fine with me. Excellent wear/dollar value.

Some sloppy stitching and irregular looking seams. They're decent for knocking around in, but don't look as good as in the photo.
