Tough. Compact enough. Take in truck. I'm mostly inbounds, so I don't usually take it skiing/boarding but it is light enough. Light and tough is always a compromise on one side or the other. This one goes more towards tough. Great product, just not ultralight.

Its light, easy to carry and works well when used wearing snowshoes.
