Woodstock Percussion Bell Flower Fountain

The fountain is absolutely gorgeous. It's a little tricky to set up and I thought it would work a little differently than it does. But overall, it sounds great and looks beautiful when turned on. I was originally going to use it outside, but since it states for indoor use only, I can't. I didn't realize that when I ordered it. We have a gazebo so we might put it out there.

This is a great example of natural flow...the water causes the striker to hit the bells in random order...my husband, an engineer, watched the thing for an hour!

The bells are not intrusive, just a gentle tinkling.

This is a great piece and a great bargain! There is a problem with the bells not playing. The bowl has to be perfectly level or the bells will not be hit by the middle piece that is moved by the water pump. It often gets stuck in one place and you only hear the sounds from the water, or it moves and doesn't hit the bells so you just hear a clicking noise. You have to play with it to get it perfectly level or the fountain does not play the bells. When it does play it is awesome.

I've long loved Woodstock chines. Have had them for many years, now have two Gregorian chant ones that are so nice sounding. This fountain is lovely. You'd pay a whole bunch more for it, especially at the "zen" shops. It took me a while to get the clapper correctly centered on the magnet so it chimes but now it is perfect. It was very easy to put together. There is no water splattering at all. This will be my bedroom fountain and I expect to love it for a long time. Thanks so much Sierra!
