“This is a hand bell, as much as a chime. It looks great indoor or out, as it is not loud, and the wind seldom blows hard enough for independent contact. There is no ball inside, the beautiful sound comes from the casting being hit by the branch "hammer", which hangs from the main structure. We use it as a door bell, for those who wish to enter, they just pull the branch for a lovely chime.”
