Woodstock Percussion Small Bamboo Birdhouse Wind Chime

Make sure that the pieces are attached strongly. I had to send my first one back. It may be a good deal for the low price.

[...]Then I hung it under an eave, since the directions said to keep it out of rain, heat, dew and most anything else you'd find outside. Then nothing happened. The weight attached to the "clapper" piece, besides being really ugly, was so heavy it would take a hurricane to move it. So I tied on a lighter one, then one lighter still. Still no sound. I guess the bamboo pieces are placed too far from it. Ill conceived and ill executed. Now we'll see how long it takes to disintegrate.

I hung this bamboo chime off a branch in my Birch tree at the end of my flower garden....I love the bird design, the color of the wood...it is heavy enough so there is not a constant chime...just occasional "like-nature" sound. friends have asked me where I bought it as it is so unique. I thank you,

Takes quite a wind to make it move. Muffled sound.

Since this was purchased as a gift, I did not hang it so was not able to rate the sound or sensitivity to breeze although usually bamboo is quite sensitive and has a small sound.
