I set this up inside the living room. The first problem is that it produces a more "chiming" type of noise from water dripping down into the bottom bin, rather than a steady water-type white noise. The second problem is that the light sensor is directly next to the lights. At night the lights "strobe" as they turn on, then immediately turn off when the light hits the sensor, and the back on again, and so forth. This is not relaxing to look at.

I love this fountain, as well as my neighbors, who stopped by to admire my beautiful fountain. Looks great in the evening when the LED lights light up the water, and the sound of splashing water is very relaxing. They asked where I bought this item, so STP please keep this in stock.

Great outdoor decoration. Has a very nice sound to it as the wind blows through it.
