This was great - especially for the price. Not always a fan of purple, but love this particular shade. I am a size 14 and the XL fit perfectly.

  • “HELLO, I WONDERING IF THIS FLEECE JACKET RUNS SMALL FOR THE SIZE, DOES IT SHRINK?”
Asked by HAPPY HEALTHY RN from FLORDIA on 1/15/2015 9:52:19 AM
    • Woolrich tends to run small for me. I am a true size 10 for tops/jackets etc., so I order a large in Woolrich to ensure that items doesn't fit tightly across the bust, especially with jacket or vest that you will probably have shirt or sweater under. I wash in cold water and line dry and have not have shrinkage.

    • No shrinkage. And wash in cold water.

    • I actually thought it ran a bit big - but I wanted extra room. I'be washed it in cold water and air dryed and it did not shrink. Hot water or dryer - don't know.

    • Have not washed it yet, but so far a perfect large.

    • true to size. I usually wear an XL and this fits fine even with the Princess seams, it fits very comfortable (I do not like my tops tight or binding) Has been washed and dried a couple of times. Cool water and low in the dryer where I take it out just before it is completely dry and let it finish drying on the hanger.

    • Does not seem small to me. I just washed it and line dried. Still fits the same.

    • I bought the medium and I usually wear 6/8 tops. Sizing is good for me as I don't like sweaters that cling. I haven't washed the sweater yet so can't answer the shrinking question..... sorry :(

    • This fleece jacket is true to size. I have not washed it yet so don't know whether it will shrink.

About Woolrich

The esteemed Woolrich clothing company has come a long way since the early 1800s, when founder John Rich sold socks to logging camps from the back of his mule cart. By 1830, Rich had built America’s first woolen mill in Pennsylvania, and it wasn’t long before Woolrich blankets and clothing became a household name. Over the years, this trusted American brand has enhanced its woolens and other fabrics with contemporary textures, dying techniques and washes, all designed to improve performance and comfort for the modern consumer. Today, after nearly two centuries of putting customers first, Woolrich bedding and clothing is still beloved by those who enjoy the great outdoors and all those who appreciate quality.
