    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Well-made, light, airy fabric, but my daughters think that these shorts belong on an old lady, so even though I AM rather old, I sent them back.

    The only little quibble I have with these flattering, very lightweight (but still opaque) shorts is that they set a bit below natural waist -- as the description said. They seem to run a bit big in the waist, too, odd for Woolrich. The plaid is muted,and goes with a lot of colors. These look a little dressier than solid-color shorts, something I wanted. Haven't washed them yet, but I imagine the all-synthetic blend will wash fine and hold up well.
