I have wood floors and I use a Swiffer to clean, and I see a lot of green fibers from this blanket. This is a first for me.

I bought this blanket for camping/emergency use to replace some military surplus blankets (Russian/Polish). The surplus blankets are smaller than twin size and the material quality is not as good. This blanket is a good size, it is pretty soft, not too heavy and decently warm. I got the blue color and it looks nice. Made in the USA. For pretty much the same money as the surplus blankets this one is much better and higher quality.

Was looking for something durable but warm to take on summer boat-camping trips, but wanted a wool blanket larger than just a throw. Got two of them. It's nice having a full twin size that is long enough for the boat bunks, but the fabric is itchy and rather felted like most reprocessed wool -- very similar to standard military issue. I normally hand-wash my wool throws and blankets, but this one says dry-clean only. Am afraid the edging would ripple and never lie flat again if I tried washing it, so I guess I'm stuck with periodic dry-cleaning bills. But these blankets seem to be well made and should last for a long time.

The outstanding quality is very welcome, in this unfortunate era of Chinese sub par goods. Great weight. I purchased this originally for an emergency travel kit for Buffalo NY Snow storm travel. We were so amazed with the quality that we ordered extra and are using two as throw covers in our living room. The Navy happens to blend with our furniture. As well as having assurance of the insulating quality for emergency use. Buy extra at this price you'll find plenty of uses.

I'm using it for a cover over a cotton spread--it is just right to fight against the chill of the AC which someone keeps turning up--it covers more than half of a king-sized bed without hanging off the bottom so I'm guessing it would be a good but not overpowering fit on a twin bed. It would be thin alone in a very cold environment, best layered. Rich color.

As usual, STP by far had the best prices on these( I bought 2 twin size for children's beds). I expect my kids will be taking these to their college dorms someday.
