I like wool for a ski base layer, keeps you warm, wicks, comfortable, can wear numerous times before you have to wash. I hand washed with "Nikwax Wool Wash", even though it says to dry clean. Shrunk a little, but I bought a size L, with is a little big, so it fits just right now.

Reviewed by Chuck from Golden, CO on Tuesday, February 12, 2013Nice sweater, bought as a base layer for skiing. I like wool for it's insulating, doesn't get stinky like polypro qualities. The wool is comfortable and does not itch. The fit is great so far, I'm 5'10", 170 lb, and bought a large. Hopefully, it stays that way after cleaning. I'm not a sweater guy, but you could wear this as a casual outer garment, if you're into that sort of thing.
