I'm always out in the yard butting brush and trees. This vest is easy to move in and not overly padded. It's perfect for what I want it for, but it's looks make it great for causal use too.

Reviewed by from on Sunday, March 10, 2013I am a woman's XL and bought this in a L for myself. I love it. The back has the extended tail and I like the two way front zipper. It definitely sheds water as I wore it in a recent snow storm. Very warm but not bulky at all.

Paired with a flannel shirt, it does a surprisingly good job at keeping the chill away. Now mind you, this is not an invitation to wear it when outdoors for lengthy periods of time during the cold months. It is perfect for running around doing errands, driving in the car, etc. The only beef I have with this vest is that it runs small. I wear LARGE shirts, and I wear an XL on this. When sitting on the fence on a size issue, go up 1 size. Other than that, well made and attractive vest!

Reviewed by tmjh from Spokane palouse on Saturday, December 22, 2012This is a nice vest. It's a casual design obviously, but the black one actually dresses up well. Nice mostly cotton outer shell with enough insulation/lining to layer surprisingly warm without the bulk of "puffer" styles. If it's a close call on size, go up. It is not at all oversized, particularly in the arm holes and body length (though it does have a bit of a tail in back). Same vest is currently on Woolrich site at twice the price.
