Woolrich Brush Hill Shirt Jacket - Insulated (For Women)

I have worn this jacket a few times and love it. It is lightweight yet warm, not bulky at all for longer car rides, the waterproofing/water repellent is a definite bonus for those early spring rainy days. This jacket is a bit roomy but that is one feature I like. It can even be worn with a sweater underneath without feeling too tight.

I've watched this jacket for awhile & was concerned it would be too small due to the 12-14 sizing. I find many 12-14 sized items don't offer enough bust room--no problem with this jacket. It's generously cut but, still tapers proportionately to the hem, avoiding that boxy look. It's lightweight, warm & the soft sage green color is attractive. As noted in other reviews, a couple of the snaps are difficult to snap. This may not work for someone with weakness or arthritis in their hands. I find if you rotate the two halves of the snaps a bit as you're trying to fasten, it works better. Otherwise good quality. Even with this slight problem, I still love this jacket!

I really like the design of this jacket, however it is rather large and bulky, so I'm not able to wear it as a layer under my winter coat. It will need to be a top layer in the spring/fall.

I ordered this shirt jacket in blue and medium. It was too big. It fit my mother who normally wears a large, so I gave it to her. The fabric is nice and soft, but the snaps are difficult to snap and unsnap.

I love the color (sage green) and love the quilted look. But the fit is really odd. I got the medium and could have gone with a small or xtra small in the body of the jacket. But the sleeves, or maybe it's the cut across the whole back/shoulder of the garment is too short. I'm no Incredible Hulk, but when I want to do anything where I cross my arms in front of my body there's resistance. I end up wearing the sleeves with the snaps undone just so they can ride higher when I need to stretch.

Bought it for mother who lives in NH - she loves, loves it. Wear around house with a T-neck underneath and keep the temps cool to reduce fuel costs.

Fits very well, warm. was looking for something that I could wear inside that was light and warm. I have tyroid problems so I am always cold. This helps a lot.

I have looked everywhere for a jacket like this. The workmanship is a very tailored look. It fits nicely and is not loose at all.

I bought this jacket in black from STP last year and have just ordered it in blue and green for myself (63) and my daughter (30). That makes four jackets! (Two more for me and one for her. LOL) I used it on a month-long vacation in England and Scotland in breezy and rainy weather. Stayed dry and warm but not too hot. It packs easily, but I used it on the plane for a pillow. There are hand pockets in the princess seams, but there are also two marvelous deep pockets on each side of the front inside that go from the waistline to the bottom hem. I have put in books, water bottles, etc. I mean 10 inches deep by 6 inches wide (just measured them). I will keep one in my car. Highly recommend this versatile item.

this would be a good item but the snaps are almost impossible to snap and once you get them snapped they don't stay snapped. Also, there is too much space between the snaps so there is huge gaps which prevents keeping you warm. I would not recommend this unless you like your jacket open.
