They were half the weight and twice the warmth as a regular flannel shirt. A year and a half later, I went back to get another. The sales people told me that they had not sold any Rusty in over a year. I checked on the internet for Rusty, and they didn't have anything close to the one I bought. Checked other sources, and it had disappeared. So I checked other sources for another close to it. I found your chamois flannel shirt that is very close to it. I has turned out great!

The weather this year has been crazy with unexpected warm spells followed by freezing winds and storms. This shirt is not boxy like most flannel shirts so it can be worn under a quilted vest without looking like a stuffed bear. The shaping plus the fact that the shirt is a solid color (not the usual plaid) makes it very versatile. I can throw it on to work in the yard, but it can also be worn out for a casual lunch. It also works well as a jacket with a tee or tank underneath. And the fabric is very soft. Like the shirt enough to buy two more colors.

She didn't have but two flannel/chamois shirts (one is mine) she could wear. So with the sale price and Woolrich name I couldn't see paying LL Bean price when I could get this one and let her wear it. She loves the shirt. Good color on her, says its comfortable and as good as LL Bean. At first she wasn't enamored with the snaps vs the true and tied buttons. now she doesn't mind. would buy it again.

The fabric is thin but very soft, which makes the shirt perfect for lounging or layering. Plus, I LOVE SNAPS! I've washed the shirt once and the only noticeable shrinkage was in the length of the sleeves, which actually made the shirt fit perfectly.

I am a medium in most tops, not liking things too snug. After washing and drying the medium fits great. A wee bit more fitted then a lot of what I wear, but just right. I can also wear petite (5'4"). The length is not too long, sleeves a little long but 2 snaps on the cuff can tighten it up.
