    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    The containers are very pretty and the color is not uniform on the pieces, more of a wash, which adds interest. The unit is easy to transport by lifting the handles. The curved edge of the wire handle, where it attaches to the basket, does touch the containers when the handle is lifted up, but it doesn't interfere with anything. I keep the unit on my pass through ledge and use it in the breakfast nook or set it on the dining table. I like it.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Handles don't fit over the containers to lift unit up. Or, when maneuvered up, they must remain up and the salt and pepper shakers cannot be removed. Poor design of the handles is the problem.
