Reviewed by Politically Incorrect from Virginia on Tuesday, March 11, 2014My wife loves them. However, the bottom stitching came out. So I had to mend them. No problem. Would purchase another pair but they are out of stock.
Reviewed by Tom Connolly from New York on Friday, December 6, 2013Last year, I bought Acorn wool slipper socks. They were warm, but uncomfortable to use. I bought these for my wife and she loves them. They are just long enough, and the chimney top makes them easy to pull on. they are warm and cushy inside, and are stable to walk in. I'm sorry I didn't buy these for myself .
Reviewed by Winter in Michigan from Michigan on Friday, December 6, 2013These are really quite ugly in real life. Also they have an odd tube-sock feel so are bunchy on the front of your ankle. They are also a bit big, which usually isn't a problem with slippers except with these the odd sock part pushes your foot to the back of the slipper and so all the extra room is in front of your toes, making them cumbersome. I'm going to use them for a white elephant gift this Christmas since they were a really good price.
Reviewed by LibbyGH from Santa Cruz Mountains CA on Monday, November 4, 2013Pleasantly surprised by Woolrich's chimney slipper socks: they feel wonderfully cozy on my bare feet, and keep my ankles warm too on our cold floors. I wasn't sure about the sizing when I placed my order. I wear a women's 7.5-8 US, and thought I might fall between sizes in these slipper socks. I ordered a Small, and although STP's website states S fits 6.5-7.5, the Woolrich package says S = 7-8, which turned out to be a perfect fit for me. I find that I walk a little slower in these socks than if I were barefoot, because my foot slips around slightly inside the sock. This is not necessarily a bad thing, given that I bought them for lounging and relaxing at home, not trekking. They are 100% acrylic.
