1.0 out of 5 stars. Not water proofReviewed by nagirrah from wa on Saturday, December 31, 2016Jacket used only twice previously in light rain got fully soaked in a steady 2 hour rain. The jacket is worthless if you need a water proof outdoor jacket. I have no idea if the other reviewers actually used this in the rain but I did and it failed, which could be dangerous in adverse conditions.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Utilitarian value!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Long Island George from Long Island on Monday, January 25, 2016Highly satisfied with this product - so much so I purchased a 2nd in a different color. Perfect as a 4-season shell, with multiple handy pockets, stow-away hood & many other features usually found in higher-priced gear. Water shedding and breathability seems fine, though we'll have to see how it holds up after several gentle washings. Product appears well-made, with an ample front zipper & lots of Velcro, including inside pockets to hold them open and hide the flap - nice touch.
My only suggestion is to add an adjustment cord at the bottom hem, allowing rthe jacket to be more tightly cinched. Only a quibble, though. A great value, altogether. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Woolrich Elite Parka - Waterproof (For Men)Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from TX on Thursday, January 7, 2016This jacket is really cool, lite weight, water proof. It is more like a wind breaker....since it is a shell...you will have to layer down. Have worn it in cold, rainy, high wind weather directing traffic for 4 hours and it worked great. The other guys were kind of jealous..because I did not look like the Michelin Man as they did.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Awesome Coat!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Georgia on Tuesday, December 15, 2015This coat is so versatile! You can wear it outside or to go out. The best thing about it is all the pockets it has. I'm really glad I finally decided to buy it!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great shellVerified Buyer Reviewed by JML from Pittsburgh on Wednesday, January 28, 2015Well-made, more pockets than a herd of kangaroos, and a good fit (this is a full-cut shell). The sleeves are not short at all (my Medium has at least an inch beyond my 33" shirt sleeve length). No waist drawstring (there's one in the hem, with the toggles in the interior pockets).

5.0 out of 5 stars. Concealed Carry CoatVerified Buyer Reviewed by OldDoggyWalker from Rural North Carolina on Wednesday, December 17, 2014If I wanted to be brief, good looking, waterproof and versatile are the three words that best describe this jacket. There really are too many features for me to mention here, but one of my favorites are the two-way zippers that run from the armpit to the hem of the coat. Opened from the top they can be used to vent excess heat, or, when opened from the bottom allow access to your pants pocket and/or a holstered firearm. It is a great coat to wear to the pistol range on a cool day. The two lower patch pockets have interior slots for pistol magazines. The high chest pockets could be used to carry a small pistol or a cell phone. And there are specialized pockets for LE people. The materials are high quality and seem durable. I highly recommend it to hunters, photographers, policemen, shooters and anybody else who might need a bunch of pockets

5.0 out of 5 stars. Elite Parka Tactical ComfortVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Washington D.C. on Tuesday, May 20, 2014The Woolrich Elite Parka, which I have renamed the Elite Tactical Parka, is a dream come to life, literally. Over the years as a plain clothes officer I have sought a parka that would readily interface with layered clothing, protective and load bearing vests, and still retain an appearance that did not scream “This guy is armed”. At night when I couldn’t sleep I would design what I wanted as far as features for comfort and functionality. The Elite Parka fills that requirement fully and completely. It has the pockets where I need them over each chest with the plus of a Velcro badge fold out for those times you need to be identifiable. It has extra-large lower pockets with shotgun shell holders and plenty of space to hold magazines or what have you. The venting zippers allow not only air but access to shoulder holsters for hand guns or small full auto such as MP-5. The back has a concealed flap for an identification patch and a very functional hood for downpours or excess winds. Truly you just have to see it or better get one for your own use,
