Exactly what we needed for the extra added warmth on northern beds. We especially like the size for good side coverage. The wool is not itchy and we appreciate a healthy, natural covering. We would highly recommend this blanket and the price makes this generational gift a real treasure.

About twice the thickness of regular blankets, very soft and also larger than standard queen and king sizes (writing the same review for the queen and king because I got one of each). These went on sale and I purchased them with a hefty percentage off. This is important because while they're fantastic blankets, really the very best money can buy, at their usual $580 for a king size (check out L.L. Bean) they're just not generally worth it. If you can get one here at around half that price, considering each is two blankets in one (more than one, since they're oversized) then you have yourself an amazing deal. The color is nice, conservative. LOVE these blankets. Pinching myself they even had them on sale for such a low price.

About Woolrich

The esteemed Woolrich clothing company has come a long way since the early 1800s, when founder John Rich sold socks to logging camps from the back of his mule cart. By 1830, Rich had built America’s first woolen mill in Pennsylvania, and it wasn’t long before Woolrich blankets and clothing became a household name. Over the years, this trusted American brand has enhanced its woolens and other fabrics with contemporary textures, dying techniques and washes, all designed to improve performance and comfort for the modern consumer. Today, after nearly two centuries of putting customers first, Woolrich bedding and clothing is still beloved by those who enjoy the great outdoors and all those who appreciate quality.
