One of the major fibers is cotton, so it's not too warm to wear in the fall, as well as in winter. The yoke design includes several colors so it's not difficult to find a matching shirt to wear under it. I haven't washed it yet, but it's by Woolrich so I'm not worried about it shrinking or falling apart.

It has little skiers knitted into the wool, which will limit time during the year when I can wear it, but will be perfect for Christmas season and for snowy winter weather. I bought a small and am 5'4" tall/120 pounds, fit perfectly. Very happy, will be great holiday sweater.
