    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    One person can not reach down and handle the double zipper in a way that allows the zipper to start zipping. It's tough to do with three hands.

    Its a great coat and love the design, but the lining will be a problem as it hangs down and will be fighting it to put my hand in the sleeve. Other than that its an awesome buy.

    I loved this coat as soon as I touched it. The outer coat is quite soft and pleasing to the touch. It is light in weight, but I think it will be warm. The liner can be worn by itself as a quilted jacket. The outer coat could easily layer over other jackets that I might want to wear to work. I have worn it twice in the cold and it is quite warm (although it wasn't very cold, only around 30 degrees.) It would be a great travel coat for someone traveling in and out of different types of winter weather. Only con for me is putting in on takes a bit of getting used to. The liner attaches at the back of the neck and end of sleeves with buttons.

    The wool in this coat is soft, warm and pliable---perfect for everyday wear. The over coat alone is great for everyday and with the liner is works for our cold temps--below 20 My only negative comment would be that the sleeves of the over coat are a little short for me---but that happens to me often--so my arms may be longer than the norm.

    I first reviewed this coat after I bought it. Now, after a few months of wear, I love it and so am reviewing it again. It arrived so wrinkled I had to have it professionally pressed, but has remained wrinkle free. Very flattering on, with out the itch that wool duffles have. I can layer the shell with a vest or sweater, add the button in liner or wear the liner alone. Great, very versatile favorite coat!
