Nice spring and fall rain shell for the price, but...

Definitely NOT for fatties. The cut of this parka is slim and athletic. For example, If you're slender and normally wear a Medium in a parka, this one will fit you but will be a tiny bit more snug through the chest and shoulders (not tight; you can still fit a sweater mid-layer comfortably) than other Medium parkas you've owned. If you have a gut, however, foggetabout it. The slim cut through the chest tracks down the coat through the waist as well. A barrel chest and a big beer belly, combined, will definitely ruin the fit. Going bigger (much bigger, say to an XL if you'd otherwise be a Medium) won't help too much either because by the time you find a size that fits a big boy trunk, you'll have a coat and sleeves that are too long.
Many other outdoor gear makers have different fitting categories (like "active" for slender, "regular" for normal and "relaxed" for portly). Woolrich would do it and itself a big favor were it to adopt such a scheme. It's a shame too that the coat doesn't have versions in different cuts for different builds. I bought a Medium in Dark Woods for a 100 mile hike in the UK this coming June. It'll be perfect for that as it's waterproof (shower tested by me), warm for cold mornings (but needs a sweater as well if it's in the 30s), thin so that it will backpack light, and stylish in a "retro country walker" way. The fact that it's not neon alone makes it worth owning.
