Woolrich Nicklin Jacket - Insulated, Packable (For Women)

I had high hopes for this as a transitional light down jacket. It appears flared slightly at the hip in the photo, but that is not the case with me. I usually wear size 6-8 but like to get a medium jacket for room for a sweater underneath. This was snug with just a turtleneck, and looked like a shapeless, unbecoming square on me. The price was so good, I was disappointed not to be able to keep it. It has a better zipper than the Columbia jacket, which also runs small--but this double zipper is a good idea. The quality seems just average, though, so I won't order another.

This jacket has been great for those last few cold days of winter. Its been good in light rain, too. The fit is nice except for the sleeves- they're a little too tight if I wear a sweater under it, and they definitely aren't long enough, leaving my wrists exposed. If you're the short/fat type, this will fit you fine, but if you're just on the tall/big size, the fit is a bit awkward. Still a good deal at the $50 range.
