    I love wool and I generally love Woolrich. This item was actually itchy and short in the body lenghth for a functional base layer.I ended up returning.

    I actually bought this hoping it would be thick enough to wear as an insulating layer while running. While it is far too thin and close-fitting for that, it is still a nice shirt--lightweight, good color, flattering cut--so I'm keeping it to use for hiking and other outdoor ventures. I haven't actually worn it for any such things yet, but my hopes are high.

    I have long arms and big shoulders, so I should have ordered a size up. I let the shirt hang dry to avoid pilling. The color is nice. I am a size 10, but for my shoulder and arm preferences, I should have ordered an XL.

    It's my first Woolrich product, and I am impressed! Good quality and practical. Be careful though selecting the size: I wear XS in outdoors clothes, and here, based on other reviews ordered S, which is just perfect. So, I guess it would be wise to order one size up.
