Woolrich Teton Parka (For Women)

This is a classic parka-style jacket. Best for cool or wet weather but probably not for temperatures below freezing. The jacket is not super stylish, but is really practical.

Wow -- I have been looking for a good midweight travel jacket for ages -- Wanted a solid black and hoped for many pockets and a concealed/zip away hood. This jacket is somewhat fitted, and looks sharp -- yet is warm and there is plenty of room to layer underneath. Perfect for crisp fall weather -- just right. Looooovvveee it.

I was not expecting the fake fur lining inside the coat that runs from the collar to midway down the back. I don't like the fur lining on the collar but I will get used to it. I bought it to wear this Fall when I am out walking. Maybe it will be a plus when the weather turns colder.

This is a great winter jacket for when you're tired of your regular wool coat or ski jacket.

Originally got this jacket for sitting on the stands during our sons' Spring baseball games. I have worn it so much that I may have to get another color for Spring baseball! It runs a little big, but that's okay, because I wear sweaters underneath anyway. Washes well. I got black--and it does shed some black fuzz when I have a lighter sweater on under it. Don't hesitate to buy it.

I bought this jacket to use at our mountain home, although I take it back and forth because it is so versatile. Needed something warm, but not bulky and this jacket fits the bill. I have bought a few Woolrich items and their quality is always so reliable. This is not a technical jacket, but does have a couple of inside pockets, which are great features. It is waterproof. I wore it in a heavy rain the other day and did not get wet. The fit is good. I am normally a size 8-10. I have ordered several medium size jackets that were too small - not this one - I can wear a medium-to-heavy sweater with it and it still fits comfortably. I may have to order another one. STP's price was certainly right.

In keeping with other reviews, I ordered a small when usually I would wear a medium, and it fits just fine. It is nice and warm, and was perfect to wear over some layers and ski with this past weekend. A good price for a good jacket.

I plan to use this coat when I go for walks in the wintertime. It does require a warm layer underneath. I do not like the looks of it up close. It does keep me warm and will be thankful for it when the snow flies.
