I've been looking for a nice zip-up sweater for quite a while. The ones I found in stores always felt too cheap or never fit right. I looked into Woolrich after seeing an ad of theirs. I'm glad I did! It's a nice comfy sweater (if you don't mind the feel of wool against your skin), fits right, and looks great! I'm a college student and I wear it to class, around town, and around the house. The design doesn't make it look frumpy like those typical winter sweaters that everyone dreads.

All in all, a great sweater for a great price!

I have been searching for a fleece alternative, wishing to return to more natural fabrics. This fits the bill. I initially ordered a medium, but found that it was too tight across the chest. The large fits comfortably. It easily accommodates a turtleneck sweater, and is roomy enough for cross-country skiing, which is why I purchased it. It is also just dressy enough to wear at work.

About Woolrich

The esteemed Woolrich clothing company has come a long way since the early 1800s, when founder John Rich sold socks to logging camps from the back of his mule cart. By 1830, Rich had built America’s first woolen mill in Pennsylvania, and it wasn’t long before Woolrich blankets and clothing became a household name. Over the years, this trusted American brand has enhanced its woolens and other fabrics with contemporary textures, dying techniques and washes, all designed to improve performance and comfort for the modern consumer. Today, after nearly two centuries of putting customers first, Woolrich bedding and clothing is still beloved by those who enjoy the great outdoors and all those who appreciate quality.
