Closeouts. An air of military inspiration and comfort-driven design gives Woolrich's Verlin vest its casual, clean-cut style; the soft twill shoulder panels perfectly offset the soft, stretchy rib-knit fabric in ramie and cotton.

I do love this vest. Some others have commented on the color, which I believe is perfect. I have hazel eyes, and it really brings out the green. It is very soft and so comfortable. Does not scratch my neck and some others do. I recommend using a special hand wash detergent on this sweater and lay flat to dry. It looks great with my jeans and colored cords also with my leggings and boots.

Nice vest, well made. I ordered up in size. Glad I did because the fit was about right. Style was flattering, but the color, which I was hoping would be more muted, was this pea soup green which didn't look good on me. Back it went.

I was looking for a vest made of natural fibers, so this cotton item sounded great. I really liked the way it looked upon arrival, but I don't think it's a worthwhile investment.
I am 5'6", 122lbs and bought a Medium (I usually wear about an 8). When I tried the vest on straight out of the STP box, it was just a little large, but had nice lines, so I decided I would keep it. I then washed it on a delicate cycle in cold water and air dried. Despite this care, the vest is now a little small -- or perhaps more accurately, it is now small in some places and large in others, and it hasn't even been worn yet. The weave of the cotton is such that it will likely stretch out more and more with each use.
I had this problem with a different vest I purchased from STP last year (which I think was also a Woolrich item in rayon/wool)... it became a shapeless sack that could accommodate two people.
It's too bad since it's a cute design and a nice color (more of a green olive than a brown one), but not worth the money if it only fits once.
