Terramar's Woolskins midweight long underwear bottoms use two-layer construction -- merino wool on the outside, silk next to the skin -- to trap an insulating layer of heat, creating a nearly impenetrable thermal barrier between skin and the cold. Mercerized merino wool and filament silk blend is naturally odor resistant, breathable and moisture wicking.

    good price for a wool/silk blend. I work outside and wear these every day, they are very comfortable and don't absorb odor. Not too thick but warm enough to wear under jeans while working outside down to about 15 degrees.

    These are just great; very well made. I bought both the top and bottom. They are uber-thin and very comfortable - can even be worn under jeans (or dressier clothes, if need be). I am considering buying another pair or two just to have them. They could not be thinner, but kept me surprisingly warm, but not too warm. If you are thinking of buying these and don't you'll be sorry....but then you'll never know.
