    this was an xmas present for a college freshman who's been complaining of the cold in flagstaff. was a big hit with him AND his dad who did his best to steal it. sizing is a bit on the large size, but was a plus for me as the freshman truly has a large head.

    This hat is fits the need of staying warm while sitting on a giant frozen ice cube (lake). No worries my ears are kept warm and it keeps the body heat in, which is important when you're sitting stationary for hours.

    I bought this hat for my brother-in-law and he seemed to really like it. My husband like it a lot, too. I wasn't that impressed by the looks--it was faded looking and the furry trim looked scruffy, but guys like that, must be. It looked like it would be warm since the interior was also insulated, and it could be worn with the flaps up or down. Overall, I am happy since it turned out to be a nice gift, and you can't beat the price!

    Good price ("closeout") for a basic trooper-style or bomber-style ear-flap hat. No frills, no fur (the lining is very faux). Cloth appears durable. Camo pattern is muted. All of the configurations (cheek flaps, ear holes, visor) are functional. Nobody looks stylish in ear flaps; that's not what they're for.
