World Famous Polartec® 200 Vest (For Men and Women)

I order a small to wear as an extra layer over shirts and light knit tops. It's just right for the office and for traveling. Definitely would but it again.

So this vest claims to be a unisex vest for both men or women; however as a woman I just swam in the extra small size. I am 5'6" and 133lbs and I normally wear a medium or small in women's clothing. So I decided to order an XS in this vest and it was still too big. The main problem was that the shoulders of the vest were too big for my shoulders- the vest needed to fit someone with broader shoulders. The tummy part of the vest was a little too big as well and not as form fitting as I like to have with my vest- it looked sloppy. I would say that the size of this vest is probably true to size for a man, but not really suited for a woman's body type. It looked more masculine to me too. That being said though, I did think the vest in of itself looked and felt nice quality if for a man. I didn't notice problems with the zipper but I only tried it on a couple of times before packing it up to return it, so I can't say whether the zipper would have had problems or not. It did not seem flimsy to me though. The fabric felt nice and thick for a fleece vest and the blue and green color seemed true to what the website showed. All in all I think these vest would be great for a man, but not so flattering for a woman.

Runs large. Exchanged a S for an XS and can still wear a fitted sweater under it. I also altered the vest to fit my narrow shoulders. I now LOVE it! It's a perfect alone or as a match under my goretex jacket.

Have this in black. The gold one was an amazing deal so picked up a second. This vest is toasty warm, great for around the yard or layered under a shell.

I use the product when I am hiking or condition walking on a cold and/or windy day. It is great because it is warm but not to warm when I'm getting a workout. My boyfriend bought me the vest, but because of the unisex sizing the medium vest was way to big. [...] I liked the vest so much I bought one that fits.

I bought this vest for my little sister who is having extensive surgery for breast cancer. I wanted something, light weight, with larger arm openings, post operatively to keep her chest warm. The blue color is nice, not too dark. She will be able to wear it in the house or layered under her coat.

Size runs big. Purchase one size smaller than customary (e.g. if you wear large, purchase medium)

It does the job and it's warm. I'll keep it cause it was the best price I found...in fact they were a bit difficult to find at all. Still if you're concerned with style, the vest is oversized and hangs a little low. The seams give the impression that they've been stretched and look a little irregular.

For the money, a great buy; but i prefer spending a little more for better quality & durability. The plastic zipper is a turn off to me. I bought a large and the nech was VERY snug. Would be great for a base layer under a leather jacket for casula dress.
