Closeouts. Imagine the extraordinary quality of Wustof in a precision gardening tool. Forged from the same superlative stainless steel as their knife blades and sharpened to a fine edge, Wustof gardening shears will make short work of pruning.
Wusthof cutlery is manufactured by a skilled team of 300 workers in two state-of-the-art facilities in Solingen, Germany

This is an exceptional set. My previous shears were always getting rusty. This set is made of stainless steel, so it should last a really long time. With sale pricing, you won't find a cheaper set of this quality.

Disappointed with how light weight and cheaply made they seemed. The coil around the spring on the shears seemed extremely fragile...I would have no faith in these. Please note that the Wusthof box states that the pruning shears are "perfect for keeping indoor trees and houseplants maintained" and the flower shears are to "cut flowers," "trim dead stems off of indoor and outdoor plants," and to "cut fresh herbs to bring into your kitchen." Clearly the folks at Wusthof designed these for very light use...if you are looking for multi-duty outdoor tools, these are not it. Sending them back.

Very poor quality. I do question if these are the true Wustof brand. There was no country of origin found on packaging or the shears themselves. Cheap plastic, dull blades and broke the first opportinity that I tried to use them. Not at all what I would expect from this brand.
