    Just attached the mounting clamps, then mount to your factory roof rack. Note: YAKIMA doesn't test the Universal mounts on their round bars, its made to fit most factory aero bars. (Oval Shaped!)

    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    We bought this rack to replace another one that we never liked. It is used for 2 pair of skis and occasionally, a snowboard, going to and from our house in the mountains. It was easy to install (according to my husband), and since I haven't heard him complaining about it, I assume it is working well and he is happy with it. We use it on a Toyota Sequoia. I like the locking feature.
