These go on easy and seem to be made well. I bought them to go ice fishing but we got snow and the lake is not gloss ice anymore. I haven't tried them as of yet. I wished they had more traction. The chains are smooth and they don't seem to grip hard ice as I would have liked.

Love these for safely walking the dog on icy sidewalks through our neighborhood. We live in Montana where there's ice on the sidewalks a good amount of the winter, and I can easily slip these over my shoes for a safer walk.
