    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I bought 2 pairs of the gaiters, one for my husband and one for myself. The previous pair we owned were made with a sturdy stretchy strap to put over boot. Your gaiter has a flimsy, thin buckle to adjust. Not a good design

    Can use with short boots, Playing in snow, Shoveling mom's driveway

    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    My son, 11, used these to play in snow. Once he figured out how to wear them, he liked them. Gaiters kept the snow out of his boots, and he said "wow, I can wear these with my short boots, too!" He thought they were 'cool' and useful. Mom is happy! They are black and fit in with his black snowpants. They are adjustable, so I can wear them too. Very practical.
