Reviewed by j from NM on Sunday, October 07, 2012the calf and toe box feel true to size in this boot, but the ankle section is loose and gives the impression of likely providing poor support, which is not reinforced by the boots' design. i carry heavy loads and have old sports-related ankle injuries, so this boot will likely receive only limited use from me.

They do not appear that they will require a long break-in period. The tread is aggressive. They are everything I look for in a bird hunting / big game stalking boot. The price was very good for a boot of this quality.

Reviewed by Shane from Las Vegas, NV on Thursday, August 16, 2012These boots are described as hiking boots but could be worn everyday or as work boots. The leather on these is just beautiful! They have performed well in loose dirt & pine needles, mud, rocks and wet grass/weeds. They were comfortable the moment I put them on and didn't require any break-in. The added height of the boots has been great as well. While my friends have occasionally had issue with dirt and debris getting into their boots, I have had no issues.
