i work at a tree company and these are light and durable enough to handle a good days work. I've had these going on two weeks and have no complaints. i would buy these again over my last asolo pair anyday. i guess in 6 months ill really be able to see how they hold up but for now great boot for the price

I haven't had a chance to try these out long range, but they are comfortable and look good too
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. comfortable out of the box

These boots are very comfortable and look great. The euro sizing was correct. I am a size 11 and the 44.5 was perfect. Boots are well made and fairly light. Only complaint is that the laces are crazy long. I'll update the review after a hundred miles but, from what I see now, there is no reaon to believe they won't hold up well, they look very well made.

I will admit that this may not be fair review as far as star rating as I will not take the opportunity of actually using the boot. I bought the boot partially because of the previous reviews which I now see as quite wrong. In my opinion the boot is NOT flexible and is quite the opposite (stiff!). The size 45.5 is a bit longer than the average US size 12 but if one looks on line at conversions from euro sizing and US the equivalents are all over the place so one needs to actually have one's foot in the actual shoe in order to assess its fit. The uppers as well as the sole are stiff and I imagine that these would take considerable breaking in time. This boot is not for me.

I ordered these for my husband and they were his first pair of Zamberlins but he says they won't be his last because he loves them!!! They are well made and fit perfect. Order according to the EURO size that best fits you.

About Zamberlan

This brand’s tradition of manufacturing top-quality hiking boots actually dates back more than 85 years, when Giuseppe Zamberlan founded the company in Italy, (and it remains a family-owned business today). The history of Zamberlan boots and Vibram® outsoles are also intertwined. When Giuseppe Zamberlan and Vitali Bramani jointly developed the now-famous Vibram® all-terrain outsoles, Zamberlan hiking boots were among the first in the world to feature them. Today, Vibram® soles are standard on every pair of Zamberlan hiking boots. Other technology you’ll frequently find includes Gore-Tex® waterproof breathable inserts, Flex-STM technology for outstanding lateral support, Z-Tec anatomic lasts and many more. If you demand the absolute best, consider choosing a pair of hiking boots or mountaineering boots from Zamberlan. You won’t be disappointed.
