Reviewed by SfMOM from San Francisco, CA on Wednesday, November 21, 2012After months of obsessing over the cuteness of these boots finally ordered. They are very well constructed. STP's description is misleading in 2 ways: Sizing- I am usually a 7.5 or 8 with wider feet and toes, the site says order up on 1/2 sizes. The 8's are very large in heel and too long both with and without socks. Description recommends wearing without socks, which is the reason I wanted this style of boots: BUT the shearling lining starts on the top (quilted) half. The bottom half inside is the stiff felt and a smooth (seems to be leather) foot liner- so I can't see wearing without socks. Shearling is thinner than Ugg-type boots. Natural is very nice color as pictured. Though there is no arch support they do feel more padded and thick on the bottom than Ugg-types and could be comfy with correct sizing. Recommend ordering half size down or if you will wear without socks or have narrow feet then likely a full size down.
