The Duo Component System Gloves are warm and the fact that they can be gloves or mittens provides convenience. There is an area to place hand warmers when fingers get cold. The Gloves proved warm in -30 to -40 weather.

Love these! The extra layer is awesome when the wind starts blowing. They were exactly what I was looking for.

These look stylish and feel warm and comfortable, but I'm afraid the dual system is not going to be more effective at keeping my hands cold in the winter. Essentially, these are regular gloves, not mittens, and the cover that you put over the fingers to transform the glove into a mitten is fairly thin. In my opinion, this won't keep my fingers any warmer than my current gloves, so I will return these and buy traditional mittens to be see if these are truly warmer.

If I didn't have good gloves already and my fingers didn't get so cold on the mountain, I would buy these.

Runs small and fingers feel cramped when enclosed in mitten cover. I ended up giving them to my granddaughter and she wore the heck out of them so well worth the money!

Have used them once for a 4-hour snowmobile ride in 20 degree temps. Hands stayed warm. I have hand warmers in handlebars and actually had to turn them down because hands were too warm. That's a first.

Very well made, mitten 'pocket padded and easy to access or stow away.

I took these gloves to Antarctica and they held up to all the crazy conditions to which I subjected them: wind, waves, snow, ice, you name it. Totally waterproof, totally wind proof, they kept me warm and dry.

A couple downsides: They fit true to size but the gauntlet is a little short - it kept slipping out from under my sleeves and leaving my wrists exposed. The clips that were supposed to attach them to sleeves/jacket don't make any sense, so keep track of them if you take them off.

Downsides notwithstanding, I would completely recommend these gloves - they deliver.
